Chengdu, Sichuan, Aug. 14-18, 2002
Description: Recently, there has been an explosion of activities in stringy orbifolds, an emerging new area of mathematics motivated by physics. This conference can be considered as a sequel to another orbifold conference held in Madison last May. Since then, this new area has experienced rapid expansion. The aim of this conference is to bring mathematician and physicists together to capture the recent actions of this field.
